4 Days, 3 Nights Lake Mburo Fly In Safari

Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. It is home to 350 bird species as well as zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.

4 Days, 3 Nights Lake Mburo Fly In Safari

Day 1: Arrival – Airport pick view

1000 Shades of Green representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at Laico Hotel Entebbe or Two Friends guest House (B&B)

Day 2: Early morning breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Mbarara. On arrival, our guide will pick you and drive to lake Mburo national park. You will stop at the equator for pictorial experience and later drive through the park. The drive from Mbarara to Lake Mburo is approximately an hour. Enter with a game drive and check in time for lunch. Afternoon go for 2 hour boat ride on Lake Mburo watching game like hippopotamus as well as birds like pelicans, heron, cormorant, fish eagle. Dinner and overnight at Mihingo Lodge B.L.D

Day 3: Game and boat Cruise

On this day we go for an early morning safari on foot with hope of encountering zebras, leopard and hyenas as they search for the pray. We come back to the Lodge for breakfast and then later have our lunch. In the evening, we will go for a sundown boat launch and return at the lodge for Dinner and Overnight at Mihingo Lodge B.L.D

Day 4: Horse Back Safari

Early morning wake up and enjoy a four-hour horse ride safari with picnic breakfast to the park. Return late in the afternoon in time for a hot lunch. After lunch, our guide will drive you to Mbarara in time for your flight back to Entebbe.  On arrival, you will be picked by our guide and be dropped off at your preferred hotel/residence.
