Day 1:  Arrival – Airport pick view

1000 Shades of Green representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Overnight at Laico Hotel Entebbe or Two Friends guest House (B&B)

Day 2: Fly out from Entebbe / Kajansi airstrip to Kidepo

After breakfast, we set off from your hotel to Entebbe/Kajansi airstrip to catch your flight to Kidepo. The flight takes approximately one and half-hours to Kidepo. You are picked from the airstrip and dropped to Apoka lodge, check in, relax and have lunch. After lunch, take an evening game drive through Kidepo Valley National park. Lunch, Dinner and dinner at Apoka Lodge. B.L.D

Day 3: Full Day in Kidepo Valley National Park

Early morning breakfast, we set off for a 2-3 hours morning game drive to Kidepo Valley National Park in search for lions, cheetahs and leopards. We relax at Apoka Lodge, lunch and we arrange for an evening fully parked Game drive. Return in the evening for an overnight in Apoka Lodge. B.L.D

Day 4: Karamajong Community visit – cultural experience

Meet the Ugandan Masai the Karamojong in their community. The Karamojong have a society whose outward appearance resembles that of the Masai pastoralists, who move their cattle around a tough landscape in search of grazing. Unlike most other Ugandans, many Karamojong shun western-style clothes and instead wear “traditional” dress of a blanket -like shawl, often in red and black.

The women wear elaborate beadwork. Quite often, the Karamajong are willing to perform their dances for visiting tourists. Though the jumping dance is the most unusual and best known, there are plenty of other traditional dances that the Karamajongperform. Karamajong dances are very structured and are performed for certain occasions.

Day 5: Depart for Entebbe/Kajansi Airstrip

Early morning breakfast, games drive as you drive through Kidepo Valley Park to the airstrip and take your flight back to Entebbe. Flight departs 15:00 hours. Driver picks you up from Entebbe and takes you to preferred hotel.
